Juneau residents are concerned about energy costs. What can the CBJ do to help citizens lower those costs and to encourage the use of alternative energy sources?
Energy costs are one of the biggest contributors to our cost of living. The first responsibility of CBJ is to model energy efficiency in its own facilities. I will continue to press for long term energy efficiencies and exploration of alternative energy sources. I was a strong advocate of ground source heat pumps at the airport and the Diamond Park pool. CBJ should continue to provide information to citizens on energy conservation, and should explore tax incentives for businesses and individuals who utilize alternative energy sources. Lastly, we should promote a Southeast, and potentially a Canadian, electric grid Intertie.

Hey this was doubtlessly one of the best blurbs I have read on the subject so far. I don’t have any idea where you learn all your data but I am impressed! I am going to send a few folks to this site to check this out. Awesome, just plain fantastic. I am have just started getting into writing articles myself, nothing remotely close to your writing potential (ha!) but I would love for you to look over my article someday! here
