What prompted you to run for office? How do you plan to balance the demands, duties, and homework of the office with your personal life?
A passion for kids and knowing that a well-educated, prepared younger population can help make Juneau a better place to live are two of the primary reasons I am running for school board. I’ve considered running for several years but realized it would be difficult to balance school board demands within the life of a working mom. As a recent retiree, I believe I will have the time to meet the demands associated with the school board.
